Well, last week rocked, 'cause I had almost nothing to do all week. I really needed it, 'cause it provided a good break.

On Friday, Seth came to Waco to pick me up for our trip to Lubbock. It was not a short trip. As a matter of fact, it was quite long. We left Waco at 1:30 and finally got to Lubbock at 7:00 post meridian. We gave Leslie a call and picked up her and Maggie and went to get some pizza. While we were there, Joelseph came and met us and it was glorious. Then Ericka came and chilled with us too. I'm pretty sure we spent at least two hours at the pizza place, if not more.

After that Ericka and Maggie left and Leslie's friend Sara joined us. We then proceeded to go to Joel's and just chill. We watched some basketball and other stuff and then the girls left and we slept.

Saturday we went to the Baylor/Tech game. We sat in the student section, so I didn't wear a Baylor shirt, because apparently Tech students brutally murder people unlike themselves....I know, it's messed up. Baylor lost, but it was a moral victory.....I'm not sure how, but it was.

Then Seth, Joel, and I went back to Joel's and took a nap. After that we called the girls and Seth, Joel, Sara, Leslie, and I went putt-putting. I didn't win, but I didn't lose, so I consider that a victory. Then we explored Tech's campus, which is pretty cool, I won't lie. They have some interesting sculptures and their SUB is way cooler than ours (but we love God, so it's all good). They had various sculptures about books, but none of those books was the Bible.....bunch of sinners! Then Seth, Leslie, Sara, and their friend Jennifer, and I went to Leslie's dorm and watched TV while Sara cut Seth's hair.

Sunday Seth and I left in time to make it to Abilene to eat some lunch with some of our ACU friends. We stopped by and had some Mexican food with Blake, Katie, and Sarah. It was a much-welcomed break from driving. Amber, if you're reading this, know that I will always love you and I'm so sorry I didn't give you a call....I realize I'm a horrible person.

We finally got back and I did some work and then just chilled.

So yeah, that was the weekend. For pictures, see my latest Facebook album. It's good stuff.

P.S. I can't wait till Thanksgiving Break. Two weeks from right now I'll be on the road, and it will be awesome!

Leave comments and love.

you probably don't know me (nothing like that statement to make me feel like a creepy stalker) but we're in the same breakout group for natural world, so we could know each other if we had ever...you know, talked. anyways, i saw down a few posts that you are in habitat 4 humanity--how did you get involved with that? what do you do specifically? i mean, i know about the organization, but tell me more (that grease song always comes into my head when i say that...anyone else? no? hmm...) if you would so oblige.
